Woodware – Christmas Tags – Take 2

I’m back again with some more Christmas tags for Woodware Witterings, this time with a great Stampendous set

Truck Tidings is a cling rubber stamp and die set, by Stampendous, the trees are part of the set, but the truck would make great new home cards or moving cards too.

The trucks were stamped on blue card and cut out. The Stampendous dies all cut on the line, so give perfect results. I have coloured the trucks with Sakura Koi Brush Pens and the Clear Stardust Gelly Roll pen, for the bumper.

I have done the trees in blue paper too. I cut some white ones to write on, but I have not stamped them. The decoration is the White Pearl Pen from Dutch Doobadoo.

I added a silver brad at the top.

I have coloured around the tag with a Koi pen to add a tiny bit of colour. The tag is of course the Tag Top Punch.

I used double-sided tape to attach the front of the truck and a foam pad at the back so that it was easy to slip the tree in and out.

some navy gingham ribbon to finish them off.

Woodware – Christmas Tags

This week Woodware Witterings we are looking at tags for your wonderful Christmas pressies

I am rather pleased with these tags, very simple and inspired by a card on Pinterest that had used buttons.

Yes Tag Top Punch strikes again, perfect for this weeks posts.

I have used the Mixed Media card and a Brown Pigma Micron pen

Then added tartan Card Candi

With Tartan Ribbon to finish off.

Simple but effective, I am going to wrap the parcels in brown paper and add some tartan ribbon.

Quick Christmas Cards…time is running out! – take 2

Here I have another quick card for you, this time very plain blue and silver

I love this Clear Magic stamp designed by Jane Snowflake Flower so quick to use, not that it has to be, it could be a much more time-consuming design of card.

I stamped it on the Mid Blue Recycled Card and trimmed it down. I made it into a small card 12cm square.

The greeting comes with the flower, I have stamped it on the same card and then coloured around the edges with the Purple Crafters Ink. I just run the card gently through the ink pad. It is enough to give the illusion of another layer and very quick!

I small piece of ribbon under the greeting and around the panel finished the card off.

Quick Christmas Cards…time is running out!

Here I have a very quick card thanks to the great stamp from the Francoise Collection

The Francoise Collection Clear Magic  stamp is Christmas Collage

First it was stamped in black on the Woodware Water Colour Card, I printed the ink pad on to my Hot Stuff Mat and picked up the colour with my water brush. The ink is ColorBox Crafter’s in Blueberry and Aruba.

I ripped the paper, the edges were water coloured too.

The greeting comes from the Stampendous Perfectly Clear set ‘Tis the Season a great set of Christmas words.

I used the Woodware paper scruffer around the edges of the stamped image and then rubbed it along the Blueberry Pad. I bled the ink out with my water brush.

I taped the organza ribbon on the back of the card, and tied it off at the end. I have used the Water Colour card to mount on to

definitely a very quick card, I hope that you like it!

Extra Christmas Card from the Leftovers

Sometime these are my favourite cards, when you have bits lying about because you have not tidied up before starting again, or is that just me?

When I was doing the post for Mens Christmas cards I had the Graffiti Christmas printed and just lying there. When I cut my Dreamweaver Nested Stockings for my Sketch post I had some extra stockings cut!

I just added a row of brads to hang my stockings and I rather like this card too.

I have added holly leaves to this one the leaves come from a very very old stamp set from the Franocise Collection Wired For Christmas.

This I think is my favourite with the none traditional feel of the colour it is fun and I do live those mini light bulbs from Woodware.

This on is just a funny shape, and I had not used my Tag Top Punch for a least a week!

Hope you like my cards with extra bits today!

Woodware – Christmas Table Decorations

I am back with the place settings for Christmas day, I have only completely finished one but the design is done and I have started on them, it is only seven for Christmas day, unless we find any strays, and that does sometimes happen and is always a joy.

I have wanted to make cutlery holders for Christmas for a few years now, and so this is will be the year. I was going to use fabric, but I decided that using card I can make new ones every year if we like the idea.

First I made the tag using the Little Christmas Bird designed by Jane Gill image that I used for my chocolates. I used the Tag Top Punch (yes how did I live without it). I have stamped with Fire Crafters ink and embossed with Stampendous Ruby Powder. I have used the A4 White Linen card

I have stamped the holly from the Stampendous Jumbo Holly Stocking Cling and embossed it with gold powder. then I water coloured with the Crafter’s ink pads Fire and Jungle.

I have colured around the edges with the Jungle ink and a big stencil brush, I coloured the card for the back too just in case I didn’t stick it together very well, I could have stuck it together and then coloured. I rounder all ot the corners with the regular rounder. I used the ultra high bond double sided tape to make sure that it stayed together.

then I did some more stamping and embossing around the pocket. You can see that I have missed a tiny bit of embossing at the join, because of the card thickness, so I have used a VersaMark pen and re-embossed that bits.

I have added the tag at a jaunty angle.

then added a napkin

and the cutlery.

They are A5 size pockets and will look great on the table and I can have them all ready to go in advance, so it will be a quick Christmas day job to lay the table.

Christmas Table Decorations

We are not big on fancy chocolates in our house but we do like an After Eight Mint, or two, so I have made this box for them to sit on the Christmas table.

I think that I saw this on the Craftwork Cards Blog but I am not sure.

I have cut my card 9 inches square.

I used my scoring blade in my trimmer and scored at 3 and 6 inches in both directions

Then  fold and crease all of the score lines.

Use a ruler to score a diagonal line BUT don’t score the centre square as it is the bottom of the box. Score the four corners.

The stamp is Jane Gill’s Little Christmas Bird Clear Magic stamp.

I would normally use a watermark pad to stamp, but because it is a solid stamp I got better definition by using a red ink pad and red embossing powder. I hope that you can see the difference.

The background paper is from one of the 6 x 6 pads I have edged the paper squares with gold embossing.

I have made all four sides the same.

I do love the face of the bird!

I had to be careful when sticking on the birds that they are the right way up.

I punched out a square of card and drew a diagonal lines across it this I placed on the corner and punched through it so that my punch holes are more or less in the same place.

can you see my deliberate mistake, yes I drew my line all the way across.

Perfect for our After Eight Mints, I wonder if the will last until Christmas, well I wonder if they will make it to the weekend!

Gingham ribbon is perfect for holding it all together, and then I can undo the ribbon and fold it flat to store for next year.
