This week we are looking at backgrounds over on the Woodware Blog, I got out my Rollagraphs.
I have used the Crackle Background rollagraph.
Here are the tools, and for those that don’t know about Rollagraphs here are the pieces.
The cartridges are available with Ancient Page ink which is an archival die ink, in lots of colours. You can also get an embossing ink cartridge, and un-inked cartridges, which you can ink with your favourite ink. This photo shows the cartridge in place.
Then pop in the wheel of your choice.
The wonderful thing about using the rollagraph with an ink cartridge is that it inks as you stamp.
Then fill in with a complementary colour.
I have done two background pieces The one above is black ink
This one has been inked with Watermark and then embossed with clear powder, and then coloured. Remember to wipe off the ink when you have finished.
The 18 has been raised on pads. The stamp is Francoise’s 18th Birthday.
The ribbon has been stamped with the Rollagraph too and the Crafters Jungle by rolling over the pad, and then shrivelled with my heat tool.
The card is a 6 x 6 made from Pale Green pearl card.
Thank you for visiting today, the girls over on the Woodware Blog have and assortment of backgrounds to share.
